Welcome to the home of NC Woodworker!

North Carolina Woodworker started as an online forum for woodworkers to share knowledge almost 20 years ago. It has grown into a friendly place to learn any aspect of woodworking with thousands of woodworkers of all skill levels. You are welcome to head straight over to the forum or to learn more about our nonprofit organization right here.

A community has grown around the original forum into groups that do a variety of activities to both grow as woodworkers and to share the craft with new people of all ages.

We conduct classes and workshops on a regular basis, featuring instructors with decades of experience.

We attend many outreach events throughout the year, from very specific groups to convention sized events. We not only demonstrate a variety of woodworking disciples, we also allow attendees to try their hand at some of them as well.

We share ideas by doing shop crawls to help each other learn new ways to set up and improve our workshops.

NC Woodworker endows woodworking scholarships in North Carolina community college programs to help build the next generation of professional woodworkers.

We have engaged in woodworking oriented community service projects over the years, bringing the touch of craftsmanship to worthy causes.

We meet in lunch groups at several places in North Carolina, an opportunity to meet up, share ideas, and discuss ongoing projects.

NC Woodworker has become a strong community over the years. We welcome you to join our group, a place where we can all share, teach, and learn.
